This is the day we have waited for; the moment when we are joined as husband and wife before God and man. Although we each have distinct gifts and talents, different ways of looking at life, we now submit them and ourselves to each other, promising to listen and value the opinions we each bring into this union. We vow before God to remain faithful to each other and keep ourselves from all others, to love and cherish each other, to never take each other for granted. We vow to live our lives before God and each other in transparency, remaining open to one another and to God. And, we shall always be best friends.

On the __________day of the month ___________ in the year __________  since the creation of the world, the era according to which we reckon,  here in the city of _____________  the Groom,______________son of ____________________ said to the Bride,______________daughter of ___________________, "Be my wife according to the practice of Moses and Israel, and I will cherish, honor, support and maintain you in accordance with God's Word. I will be faithful to you and protect you and love you for as long as we both shall live." And she said to him "I will be your wife and love and respect you, allow you to be the man of the house and the one who leads our family. I will be faithful and loyal to you for as long as we both shall live."

They are now declared to be husband and wife under the laws of God and man.
